This package is designed to provide personalized, ongoing guidance to address your family’s unique sleep challenges and goals.

What’s Included:

  • Discovery Call:  A free initial consultation to discuss your sleep concerns and assess your family’s needs.
  • Customized Sleep Plan:  A step-by-step plan tailored to your baby’s developmental stage and your family’s routine.
  • A Follow Up Call Before Implementation: Jump on a call with your sleep coach to fully understand your plan, ask any questions and feel prepared to get started. 
  • Ongoing Support: Daily support through virtual check-ins (via text, email, or calls) for two weeks.
  • Troubleshooting & Adjustments:  We’ll adapt the plan as needed to ensure progress and success.

Does gentle sleep coaching work for newborns?

Yes, but our approach is designed differently for newborns than for older babies or toddlers. For newborns, we focus on teaching you to recognize their natural sleep patterns, understand their cues, and create a calming routine that promotes healthy sleep habits later. We don’t expect newborns to sleep through the night, but we can help you find ways to feel more rested and confident during this early stage.

What ages do you work with?

We work with families with children from newborns to age 5. Our strategies evolve based on your child’s development, whether we’re helping your newborn transition to life outside the womb, addressing a toddler’s bedtime struggles, or supporting your preschooler through big changes.

Do you use the cry-it-out method?

No. We do not believe in leaving babies to cry or the extinction method to “teach” them to sleep. Our philosophy is rooted in responsiveness and connection. Gentle sleep coaching uses gradual, supportive techniques that respect both your baby’s developmental needs and your family’s sleep goals.

What is gentle sleep coaching?

Gentle sleep coaching is a child-centered approach to creating age-appropriate sleep habits without harsh methods like cry-it-out. Our strategies are responsive, respectful, and tailored to your family’s goals. At Bountiful Doulas, we prioritize meeting you where you’re at—whether you’re hoping for small tweaks or a full sleep transformation.

How long does the sleep coaching process take?

The timeline depends on your child’s age, sleep needs, and your family’s goals. Many families see significant improvements within 7-10 days (and often less) during our Two-Week Sleep Coaching Package. For smaller adjustments, like overcoming regressions, results can appear even faster. We’ll guide you at every step to ensure you see progress.

What if it doesn’t work?

Sleep coaching isn’t a one-size-fits-all process, which is why we personalize each plan to fit your child’s unique needs. If something isn’t working, we’ll adjust the plan during the two weeks of ongoing support to ensure you’re moving toward better sleep. Our goal is to troubleshoot, refine, and get results together.

Do I have to stop nursing to sleep train?

Not at all! Our sleep coaching respects your feeding choices and supports night feedings when they’re developmentally appropriate. We work with you to find a sustainable balance that meets your needs while improving sleep for both you and your baby.

What’s the difference between the full sleep coaching package and an Ask Me Anything call?

  • Two-Week Sleep Coaching Package: Includes an in-depth intake, a fully personalized sleep plan, and two weeks of ongoing support. This option is ideal for families looking to address long-term sleep challenges or make significant changes.
  • Ask Me Anything Call: A 30-45 minute session perfect for quick advice or troubleshooting regressions. It’s great for newborn tips, small setbacks, or minor adjustments but doesn’t replace a comprehensive sleep plan.
